Everyone wants a well trained dog but most of us settle for one that will listen at least sometimes. Over the years I have talked to people just like you who are tired of having to tell there dog to sit or stay or come a half dozen times before their directions are followed. You have at least seen this person in your neighborhood with her hair in curlers still dressed in her robe trying to get her dog to come to her at 6:00 am.
