Psychological Service Dogs
A psychological service dog is specially trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual disabled by psychological illness. Traditionally, service dogs have been known to help those with disabilities including blindness, deafness, and mobility issues. What tasks can Psychological Service Dogs be trained to do?
- Break up repetitious behavior
- Break up flashbacks (dissociative episodes)
